Scrub Up September™ is an annual fundraising campaign that brings the Gold Coast community together to raise funds to help kids in hospital.

Whether you’re a local school, childcare centre, business, community club or group of friends, you can get involved and host a fundraising event or activity of your choice to help raise funds.

When you register, every dollar raised during Scrub Up September™ for kids in hospital will help Gold Coast Hospital Foundation fund lifesaving health research, purchase essential medical equipment, and to provide interactive play and sensory areas in our hospitals. These important projects will help improve patient care, quality of life and health outcomes for unwell or injured children at Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital and all Gold Coast Health public clinics.

  2. Keep an eye on your inbox for your free Scrub Up September™ fundraising kit

  3. Start planning your Scrub Up September™ event or activity

    • Select a date (this can be one day, a week, or even the whole month)

    • Set a fundraising target

    • Invite friends, family, colleagues and/or customers to get involved and support your fundraising efforts

  4. Ask for donations on the day, week or during the whole month – every dollar raised, no matter how big or small, helps reduce medical hardship for sick kids in hospital

  5. Have fun dressing up in your medical scrub hat (provided by us)

  6. Bank the funds you’ve raised – you’ll find our banking details in your fundraising kit

  7. Thank everyone for coming and tell them how much you raised to help sick kids in hospital
